        While Vijay's Mersal teaser has already been creating many records on Youtube, the fans were asking if the film's trailer would release. That was also the question of many film buffs indeed.        However, when we contacted our close sources, they confirmed that there will be no trailer for Mersal, as the team feels that the teaser itself created the impact. With the two recent promos, it has added to the film's buzz much more, and they don't feel the need of a trailer. Though there won't be any trailer, it is also told that the makers might release another promo close to the film's release date, which we have to wait and see.

          Mersal is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language action film starring actor Vijay in triple roles with Samantha, Nithya Menonand Kajal Aggarwal playing the female-lead roles. The film is directed by Atlee and co-written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, S. Ramana Girivasan and Atlee with background score and soundtrack composed by A. R. Rahman while the cinematography is done by G. K. Vishnu and editing is by Ruben. The Telugu dubbed version is titled as Adhirindhi.

       The successful distribution & production banner 'Thenandal Entertainment' will be producing its first big budget movie Mersal with Vijay and Atlee combo, this combo's previous movie is the blockbuster movie 'Theri'.

            Hema Rukumani, the CEO of Thenandal Entertainment in recent interview says "We are proud at roping a big star like Vijay for the first time. Hope to recreate the Atlee-Vijay Theri magic once again."
